Vine Lab Wine & Spirits Academy

Vine Lab for short, started in 2017, simply because we had a passion for the wine & spirits

industry and saw a need to level up the knowledge in their home state, Minnesota.

Focusing on global certifications, Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET), Wine Scholar Guild

(WSG) and now Sake Sommelier Association (SSA), we have a diverse array of options for

enthusiasts and professionals alike.

WSET, has been the globally recognized leader of wine and spirits education for more than 50

years. Based in London, the outreach spans the globe teaching 4 levels of wine, 3 levels of

spirits and sake and is the path to Master of Wine. We teach levels 1-3 currently. Levels 1 and 2

are offered 4-5 times per year and level 3 is offered every spring.

Wine Scholar Guild, formerly French Wine Scholar has now introduced Italy and Spain including

many individual Master courses. We are proud to teach French, Italian and Spanish Wine

Scholar courses.

We have an array of spirits and sake courses, at the beginner to intermediate levels, offered several times a year.

Vine Lab also customizes classes for businesses and trade shows.

We are proud to be the education leader in the Midwest for all things wine, spirits, and sake.

In 2021 Vine Lab had a 100% exam pass rate!
