Fountain Hill Winery in Delano, Minnesota is hiring a full time winemaker/vineyard manager- sounds like a cool job!
Essential Duties: -Works/Collaborates with Winemaker, Assistant Winemaker & Production Manager to plan and execute harvest related operations and workflow. -Assist in monitoring fermentations. -Continuously diagnose and propose solutions to help improve efficiencies and wine quality. -Maintain effective and continuous communication with all team members. -Bring a “can do” attitude and be willing to help wherever needed. -Be a “teacher” and help educate all team members. -Quality control The Ideal Candidate will have: -2+ years of harvest cellar work experience (preferred) -Degree in Viticulture & Enology or related field (preferred) -Some supervisory experience preferred. -Passionate about wine. -Strong attention to detail. -Ability to multitask, especially during the fast-paced harvest winemaking period. -Flexible schedule – ability to work nights, early mornings, weekends, etc. -Must share company values: integrity, respect, value creation, compliance, customer focus Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in an evolving environment with enthusiasm
